This weave exploration draws inspiration from the ancient pre-Columbian cultures that thrived along the Peruvian coast between 700 B.C. and 400 A.D. These cultures held a profound spiritual connection to nature, expressed through their reverence for various deities. Nature was revered and tended to with great care in all its grandeur and intricacy. This connection between ancient civilisations and the natural world, where spirituality and stewardship intertwine, serves as the wellspring of our creative process. Our textile piece seeks to echo the reverence and harmony these cultures nurtured with the environment, capturing the essence of a spiritual bond that endures through the threads of time.
