Beauty lives in everything that surrounds us, even in what usually goes unnoticed. 

"Reading the forest" is a series of mats inspired by this idea, taking as a starting point the essay by the writer Mónica Nepote: "The forest is an inexhaustible text, I would dedicate my life to reading it." In his reflection, Nepote invites us to practice contemplation in nature, discovering details that at first glance escape our attention, such as lichens and fungi in the heart of a forest. Only through constant and deep contact with nature do we stop perceiving what is obvious to us. discover the subtle, the profound and the truly beautiful.

Drawing, talking, writing or designing about nature becomes an act of connection and understanding, especially when our daily lives make it seem distant. This line, created in dense and fine tufted by hand, is an exercise in observation of the visual poetry of the natural environment.
